There was one multiracial student enrolled in Crosstimbers Academy School District in the 2022-23 school year, 75% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Crosstimbers Academy School District welcomed 151 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 0.7% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Crosstimbers Academy School District roughly covers schools within Parker County and has a main office in Weatherford.

Crosstimbers Academy was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming one student in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
