There were 151 students enrolled in Crosstimbers Academy in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 54.3% of them were girls, and 45.7% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 82.8% of the Crosstimbers Academy total enrollment.

Crosstimbers Academy roughly covers schools within Parker County with its main office in Weatherford.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
