Aledo ISD Education: 7,368 students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 7,368 students enrolled in Aledo ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 9.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.5% of them were boys, and 47.5% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 75.7% of the Aledo ISD total enrollment.

Aledo ISD roughly covers schools within Parker County with its main office in Aledo.

Among the 10 schools in Aledo ISD, Aledo High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,524 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
