City crews are assessing damage from last night's storm and making repairs where needed. We are aware some residents are still without power and we have been in contact with Oncor, who is working throughout the city to restore power.

If you have an immediate need due to severe damage, you can visit the Weatherford office of the Red Cross at 129 W. Oak St. in Weatherford for assistance between 11 a.m.-8 p.m. today, March 3rd. If you are unable to visit the office you can call 1-800-RedCross. You can also email tanya.webb@redcross.org to have a team assess your home.

We also encourage you to report any damage to the Texas Department of Emergency Management at https://damage.tdem.texas.gov. This tool is designed to deploy early in a disaster impact area to gather Rapid Damage Assessment information revealing the scope and size of an event for public safety personnel.

If you have tree damage and want to do the cleanup yourself, please note that Republic will do brush pickup if:

1) The branches are cut to no more than 18 inches in length;

2) The bundles don't weigh more than 50 pounds total;

3) You call and let them know at 817-258-5925.

Also please note that if you're a roofer, tree company, or other provider, you MUST have a permit from the City of Willow Park to go door to door in the city. You can come see our development department anytime between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to obtain one.

If you have a question that is not answered here, you can call 817-441-7108 or email rhoffman@willowpark.org for more information.
