A long duration of well below freezing temperatures and windy conditions will damage exposed outdoor pipes and cause them to burst. Temperatures fall below freezing Thursday and will remain below freezing until Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Take the time to prepare your home from the hazardous cold temperatures!
The Parker County Office of Emergency Services reminds everyone to follow the Four "P's" of winter weather safety.
Procrastinate is not one of the P's so be sure to be Prepared! The cold weather will be here before we know it.
Limit your outdoor exposure, but if you have to get out make sure that you are dressed appropriately. It is for your safety.
