City of Aledo issued the following announcement on July 27.
The City of Aledo launched the Plan Aledo interactive website today. The website is a collaboration tool that will be used for several visioning and planning efforts underway within the city. Visioning and planning will include Downtown, commercial frontages, the Pine Street Trailhead & the Aledo Commons area. These initiatives are lighting the way for Aledo to take bold and meaningful actions to protect the small-town charm, while creating attractive and lively amenities, high quality development, and improvements that the community identifies as important.
The City is taking steps to ensure that Aledo grows in a planned and strategic way, with character and with purpose. The website provides collaboration opportunities in identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges of certain areas of Aledo, in addition to hosting a survey regarding Aledo’s future commercial buildings. The survey will have qualifying questions in order to differentiate between residents in city limits, those outside city limits, business owners, and developers. Engagements on the site will be changing throughout the process so be sure to head there today to provide feedback and subscribe with your email to keep posted on new engagement opportunities.
