City of Aledo issued the following announcement on April 28.
"It is our intent to conduct a test of the OWS [Outdoor Warning System] on May 6th at 1:00 PM. The activation will be coming from the Parker County Fire Alarm Center, instead of the fire station, in order to test the redundancy activation capability I have arranged from there. We will only do the test if the weather permits..."
