Election Day sees endorsements in key congressional and senate races

Today marks Election Day, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters in line by 7 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballots. Voting locations for counties in SD 10 that have local runoffs are listed at the end of this article.

Endorsements have been made in two key races:

Craig Goldman for Congress

In Congressional District 12, an endorsement has been given to Craig Goldman, a businessman and former staff member for Senator Phil Gramm. The endorsement states: "For over a decade, we’ve worked together to advance conservative principles. I know Craig to be a strong pro-life advocate, committed to border security, and a passionate defender of Israel." It further mentions past collaborations with Goldman on issues such as border security and support for Israel.

Brent Hagenbuch for SD 30

In Senate District 30, Brent Hagenbuch has received an endorsement. The statement highlights Hagenbuch's background: "Brent is a Naval Academy graduate who served over a decade on active duty. He’s a Texas entrepreneur who created a successful business from the ground up and now runs a national trucking business with hundreds of employees." The endorsement notes his grassroots involvement as precinct chair and GOP County Chair before running for Texas Senate.

Voters are encouraged to join Governor Abbott, Lt. Governor Patrick, Sen. Drew Springer, and others in supporting Craig Goldman for Congress and Brent Hagenbuch for Texas Senate.
