Parker County Sheriff’s Office welcomes our newest deputy, Trevon McNealy.

Trevon

Parker County recently issued the following announcement.

Trevon was born in Dothan, Alabama, and graduated Northview High School in 2007.

He moved his family to Texas after he earned an honorable discharge from the United States Army following two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq as a Cavalry Scout and Indirectfire Infantryman.

He graduated from Cedar Valley Police Academy in Lancaster in April and is currently working toward a degree in criminal justice at Liberty University. He is a single father of two children, Matthew, 18; and Chloe, 11.

His mentor, Dallas Police Detective Dwayne Thompson, inspired him to choose a career in law enforcement as a way to continue his service to his country and give back to the community he chose to raise his family.

He said he chose Parker County because he heard good things about the Sheriff’s Office and wanted to make Parker County his hometown.

In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and is looking forward to obtaining his pilot’s license.

He aspires to be a Special Weapons and Tactics team member and wishes to leave his new community a better place for future generations through his service.

Sheriff Russ Authier said Deputy McNealy’s background and military experience was a deciding factor in recruiting him.

“We look forward to the positive impact Deputy McNealy will have in our ranks.
