2021 Comprehensive Plan Update

Genbusiness001

City of Hudson Oaks recently issued the following announcement.

Hudson Oaks is planning for its future with an update to the Comprehensive Plan!  The Comprehensive Plan is the City's blueprint for how Hudson Oaks will develop in the future and what our services, events, and goals will be over the coming years. We started the process with a Community Survey late last year, and we had a phenomenal response rate!  That led to our Strategic Plan and now we are working on our Comprehensive Plan.  We will continue to get more feedback as we craft the Plan together through in-person community forums, this interactive project website, a Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, and several other sources and opportunities so stay tuned!

Cities update their comprehensive plans every three to five years when they are experiencing growth, which we are, and our current Comprehensive Plan was last updated in 2012!  Although our Comprehensive Plan will have a 15- to 20-year outlook, it will include short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals, strategies, and actions.

The planning process will include community engagement opportunities over the next year or so to ensure opportunities for collaboration on each of the Plan elements such as land use, design, infrastructure, and mobility/connectivity.
