There were nine gas stations in cities across Hood County selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $4.81 per gallon in the week ending May 16, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $5.06 per gallon for diesel gas.
Among 42 gas stations in cities within Hood County, 33 offered diesel gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas in Texas was $5.01, down from the previous week.
