Granbury ISD had the highest enrollment among Hood County districts, with 7,962 students during the 2024-25 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, 52% were boys, and 48% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 63.2% of the Granbury ISD total enrollment.

Among the three districts in Hood County, Tolar ISD ranked second in enrollment numbers with 884 students, while Lipan ISD enrolled 478 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.

Granbury ISD roughly covers schools within Hood County with its main office in Granbury.

In the previous school year, Granbury ISD also had the largest number of students among Hood County districts.
